A message on the Service of Justice – River Falls United Methodist Church

A local church recently hosted Peace with Justice Sunday.  I was fortunate enough to be asked to give the service.  As I read over the hymns & reading it was really easy to pull a message together.  One of my former students, in the UWRF course – Restorative Justice, posted a photo on Facebook, and this was read as the closing.

It really does take a village.

I wanted to do a good job, I was born and raised Methodist and I don’t attend as often as I should, or recently at all.  Confession is good for the soul right!  The Methodist Church folks, posted this to Facebook last night.  This is really awesome, because typing it up was on my to do list!  Now I can share it easily.  I’ve already got a request from another Restorative Justice program, wanting to share with their program volunteers.  I thought it might help or hold value for others so I am sharing it here.
